Web Design Tips to help Non-Web Designers
In our last posts we learned some tips to Simplify Web Design and Basic Web Design; here are some general guidelines for peoples who are non-designers but will to develop website by their own. These tips will also be helpful if you are going to outsource your web design project.
Colors are heart of any design, good color combinations help attracting visitors; use only 2 to 3 colors for your design. More colors generally don't attract visitors to your website. You can use plain white background or can use soft colors for your web design.

As explained in Tips for Basic Web Design I would like to suggest 2 to 3 font’s maximum in your web design. There may be few of your favorite fonts, but they may not be of others. Keeping this aspect in mind you should use 2 to 3 standard fonts for your web design.
In our post Tips to Simplify Web Design we discussed about simplicity of web design. Navigation is one of the most important factors in web design. Limit your navigation items to 5 to 7 and name them as simple as possible.
As we had suggested in one of our previous posts layout, white space and CSS is very important in any web design, a beautiful design can be achieved with the help of white spaces, proper use of CSS, 2 or 3 column layout and standard scroll with limited count of frames.
