Web Design Tips for Startups

Are you planning to launch a new company or recently launched a new company, then you are not alone to do so. There are hundreds of companies are being started in a day. But if you want to be in market and hold your position, then you need to have a very good online presence. Being a start up you may have tight
budgets, then how you will go for online presence in low budget. We will help you to do so.

There are few factors you need to do before going for web designing, this exercise will help you cut your cost.

First you need to prepare detailed design strategy, to do this you need to think on few things like

• What is your company's vision?
• What message you want to convey to your visitors or customers?
• What features will help you stand out in market?
• What are the main features you want on your website?

All you need to do is to work on these from scratch and prepare a list of all features you want in your website. Stating without a plan may lead you to waste your precious money and time as these are important for startups. Create a draft design of website using all features you want in your website.

While you are working on draft of design, just remember only one thing "Keep it Simple". Simple designs cost you less, fast to create, easy to load and looks better even on smart phones. Avoid complex designs as it will not help you to get visitors. Simple designs will get you more visitors hence business. Make your navigation simple and clear to understand.

If you are no knowledge of web designing don't worry, you may go for themes. There are lots of websites who offers free or paid themes. Read theme documentation and some tutorials before using theme. It will help you understand CMS and theme, but this process may take long time to learn. If you are short of time then you can hire a web designer (freelancer web designer or web design company) for this purpose.

While you are working on design of your website, you should focus on SEO along with. Clearly mention your brand name, use SEO Friendly URL's. Use appropriate keywords in title and description of website. Basic SEO makes search engines easy to crawl and rank your website high in search engines.

Don't forget to update your contents regularly. Make your contents unique, related and simple in context to understand easily. Contents play an important role of relationship between you and your visitor. Updating content will also help search engines to rank your website high.
