Important Tips to improve your web design

In our last post Tips to Improve your web design, we discuss about to use professional logo, simple navigation, limited use of graphics and white space. Today we will discuss few more tips to improve your web design.

Any design, whether it’s for website or for your apparels, colors are main facts which represents you and your
identity. Use clean and light colors for your web designs. Bold colors are not all time favorites but soft colors are for everyone. Your contents, heading and remarks should use colors relative to each other. Better to use color palette that complements your logo and your marketing preference.

As discussed in our earlier posts we again suggest to use professional photographs for your products and services. Better hire a professional graphic designer, web designer or you may outsource it as per your budget. Poor quality photographs don't add any value to your brand but helps to make it worst. We suggest not to use photographs if you don’t have of one good quality.

In our previous post Tips for BasicWeb Design we suggested to use standard font type. Again we insist not to use nonstandard fonts. Each font behaves differently on different browsers and operating systems, some fonts are easily readable on all systems while some are difficult to. Try to use standard fonts which look similar on all type of browsers and operating systems. Font size is also important factor for your web design. Use font size 11 point and try to limit font families to two. It will also help to load your web page faster.

For your website design every page should be like your landing page, so that visitor enters your website from any page. You need to design your website in such a way that whatever page a visitor lands on, main information is available there for them.

In short: Go for decent colors, use good quality professional photographs, standard fonts limiting two font families and design every page like a landing page.
